Gleba and Herdade da Malhadinha Nova have joined forces to create Organic Barbela Wheat Bread, a special edition that celebrates its origins, sustainable farming, and traditional Portuguese varieties. The project stems from the cultivation of organic Barbela wheat in the Alentejo, integrated into an agricultural ecosystem focused on biodiversity, soil regeneration, and animal welfare. This work, developed by the Soares family over several generations, combines traditional practices with technological innovation, with a focus on sustainability.
