L'été's playlist is a celebration of the most anticipated season of the year and was designed to contemplate the warmer days: to be listen to on the journey to your holiday destination, to accompany an al fresco meal with friends and family, or simply playing it on endless pool and sunny laidback days.
This soundtrack combines the hot rhythms of Mayra Andrade with the unmistakable and timeless classics of Bossa Nova. 01 - Everybody Loves the Sunshine
"My life, my life, my life, my life in the sunshine" – die fast hypnotische Wiederholung des Textes verstärkt das Gefühl, dass die Sonne und das Licht stets Erneuerung und Frische mit sich bringen. In der Interpretation von Flo Morrissey erhält die ikonische Komposition von Roy Ayers eine neue, erfrischende und zarte Perspektive.
02 - Summertime
Der unbestrittene Klassiker erinnert uns daran, dass im Sommer "the livin’ is easy".
George Gershwin komponierte das Stück 1934 für die Oper "Porgy and Bess", und seither wurde es von unzähligen Künstlern interpretiert, jeder mit seiner eigenen, einzigartigen Note.
