Late Harvest

Late Harvest

The 2020 edition of Malhadinha Nova late harvest, golden of colour, like other editions it is very aromatically intense and complex, where quince, orange and apricot notes are highlighted, envolved by the great quality wood. On the mouth the profile is likewise complex and rich, the sweetness is perfectly balanced by the great acidity, the finish is very long and persistent.

Vinification

Grapes harvested manually on the first days of November and carefully selected at the choosing table. The must was inoculated with selected yeasts and the long, low temperature fermentation was interrupted in order to keep a adequate level of residual sugar, followed by a 18 month staging in french oak barrels.
