Malhadinha red 2019, the latest edition of one of Malhadinha’s most emblematic wines appears very contained on the nose, but very fine with black and blue fruit notes, spiced and a light roast. On the mouth it is very complex, round with mature and polished tannins, very long at the end, with a great potential for aging.
Manually harvested grapes into 12kg boxes and rigorously selected at the choosing table. Fermentation happened in temperature controlled press with various treads throughout the process. 16 months staging in new freach oak barrels.
The 80 hectares of vines sprout on the gentle slopes of drained schist soil, inserted into the terroir and respecting and integrating into the existing ecosystem and biodiversity.
