Monte da Peceguina

Monte da Peceguina red, white and rosé are the groundwork of the brand. The first harvest dates back from 2003. Entry in the market was at the start of 2005 with the Monte da Peceguina range, whose name pays homage to the “Peceguina Velha”, one of the existing houses in the property.

Malhadinha Red, White and Rosé are also foundations for the brand. A pairing of carefully selected varieties that make Malhadinha’s terroir, giving singularity to the wine with the HMN label.

Monovarietals

The monovarietals are produced in the years when nature permits. Aragonês and Touriga Nacional, in the case of the reds, and Antão Vaz, Verdelho and Arinto, for the whites.

Vale Travessos

A mix of traditional grape varieties from 1.5 hectares, acquired in 2016, close to Malhadinha, the “Vinha de Vale Travessos” (Vale Travessos Vineyard), planted in 1949 and 3.5 hectares acquired in 2018.

Late Harvest

The grapes are harvested manually in the first hours of the day and carefully selected at the choosing table. Of an intense amber colour, the Late Harvest 2015 shows intense ripe apricot, crystallized orange skin and a light nuance of ginger.

Other Products

The organic, sustainable and extensive farming has reduced mankind’s action to a minimum. Keeping the Alentejo’s traditions alive, olive oil, honey and vegetables are grown in the organic gardens and greenhouses, and indigenous species created in perfect harmony with the natural surroundings.
