To celebrate Valentine's Day and Carnival, we suggest an experience based on the immortal masterpiece from Victor Hugo, “The hunchback of Notre Dame” published in 1831 with the highest reference in the literature world and adapted into theater and cinema.

    Start your experience with a romantic appetizer served in the confort of your room.

    We shall recreate the famous tradition of the Pont des Arts, in Paris, where lovers immortalized their love vows with a padlock. In our Malhadinha version, we invite our guests to engrave their names on small wodden boards and hang them upon our tree of wishes.

  • Horse ridding through the vineyards

    We want to teach our guests some love potions that can be recreated when they return home!

  • Renaissance dinner
    Embark with us on a journey to the Renaissance period and have a worthy French court dinner with consommé, carving meats and delicious crepes suzette.

    We want to combine our incredible and traditional breakfasts with the classic French patisserie. Imagine yourself in Paris, whilst tasting our baguettes, jams and croissants.

    Candles are a key element to create a more intimate atmosphere. We propose to our guests the use of flowers and other elements off the estate to create personalized candles which they can take as souvenirs and recreate the city of lights in their own homes.

    Enjoy a buffet with products allusive to Paris – the city of eternal love!

  • Visit to Aracelis
    Visit to the sanctuary of our lady of Aracelis, the highest point of the lower Alentejo, the stage for many marriage proposals.

    On this special evening we suggest a four-course meal in an intimate and romantic environment, in our restaurant.

    Once back in your room, relax with a glass of sparkling wine in the company of your better half.

  • Fortune Teller at the welcome drink
    The gypsy folk is well known for being able to read the future. We want to know what yours holds. Who knows, maybe many weekends at Malhadinha?

    Get into the real party concept: we will have food, bonfires, tents, surprise us with the dance steps you learnt in the afternoon and have fun with us.

  • Puppet show during dinner
    Recreating one of the scenes of the piece, which is so well represented in the Disney film based on the literary work, we will present a puppet show during dinner.

    Start your day with a refreshing breakfast and get ready for the day that awaits you.
  • Picnic
    In such a festive program, we could not miss our usual picnic with more carnival decorations where we invite our guests to dress up for shrove.

  • Mask contest during Picnic
    During the picnic show off your masterpieces, made the previous day and let yourself be judged by our jury.

  • Check-out
    Say until then to Malhadinha, taking with you all the memories of these two fantastic celebrations.

Includes:

3 nights accommodation in a double room. All meals mentioned in the program. All activities mentioned in the Guest Experience Team program. Free usage of the Spa (jacuzzi and Sauna). Fruit in the room and a bottle of wine at check out..

Excludes:

All drinks with meals and outside meals, except welcome wine.

Observations:

In case of the impossibility of having outdoor activities due to atmospheric conditions, activities will be replaced by similar experiences according to the Client preferences and his prior consent.

Cancellation Policy:

Our expectation is that there will be no need for cancelling, however, in case of an unpredictable situation we kindly ask you to warn us as soon as possible in order to avoid the following costs:

  • 5 days or less: 100% of the stay
  • No show: 100% of the stay
  • Pre-payment of the total amount of the reservation until 5 days before arrival.
