THEATRE IN VENICE
· Arrive at the Country House & Spa. The Venice Carnival symbolism will be our chefs inspiration to
prepare some treats that will accompany our wine varietals.
· Jeep tour to the estate followed by a visit to the winery with wine tasting in the cellar.
· Travel through the Italian Gastronomy. Our Chefs Joachim Koerper and Bruno Antunes will present a
Menu inspired in the origins of the Italian cuisine with a Portuguese and Italian selection of wines.
· The theatre in Venice gave birth to a new street theatre style, Commedia dell'arte.
We invite you to assist to a theatre play in the Country House in this original style and with the presence
of a well-known character “harlequin”.

PUPPET SHOW
· Wake up to the sounds and aromas of a fine breakfast with homemade bread, season fruits, jams and
natural juices.
· Lunch in the Country House with a Show cooking of Pizzas and Pastas. Our kitchen team will reveal all
of the secrets of cooking the best known Italian dishes. In an informal and relaxed environment,
choose your ingredients and enjoy your own creation.
· The puppet production was created in Venice in the Middle Age. Enjoy a puppet workshop with our
teacher. Express all of your creativity and prepare for the evening show.
· Thematic dinner in our restaurant inspired in the Portuguese Gastronomy, with a Menu that allies
Traditional and Modern flavours combined with Malhadinha wines.

· The puppet show was made popular by the Venice Carnival and it represents social stereotypes. We
invite you to assist in the evening to an exclusive puppet show and let your own creation become part
of the story that will be presented.

THE MASQUERADE BALL
· Breakfast at the Country House – Our Chefs creativity will definitely surprise you.
· Luísa from the Malhadinha’s Guest Experience Team will be your guide through a beautiful walk to
one of the most paradisiac places in the estate “Fonte da Mora Linda”. Remember the most wonderful
moments from this whole experience in the middle of nature.
· Rural and light lunch next to our Riverside, in contact with nature. Let yourself go and imagine traveling
through the beautiful channels of Venice.
· Banquet in the wine cellar. Giacomo Casanova, the most famous Italian writer will be your host at
dinner with violins, inspired by the glamour of the Venetian Carnival. Our kitchen team will present a
special menu – Gold & Light.
· The Masquerade ball will start with the sound of violins. Joy and Bliss will be the hosts of this great
event.

SAY FAREWELL TO MALHADINHA WITH “MATTACCINO”,
THE FAMOUS EGG GAME!
· Enjoy your breakfast in the Country House. The best combination for an excellent start of the day!
· The experience will end with an egg game Workshop “Gioco della Ova”. This ancestral Middle Age art
consists in the production of eggs filled with water and flowers.
